my favorite magazine, BUST, came in the mail yesterday - so this is going to be a good week. 2 pages in and i was already laughing (that's always the best).
i was so excited to be back here at wake, and now i've realized how mundane and monotonous it can get so quickly. i'm learning things, however, and that makes me feel all right. someday i will have that schedule where i sleep to noon again.
i miss boa and joe-sak a lot, which isn't odd at all. i think i'm going back to raleigh again this weekend for some reid speed @ studio 56. it's important to me that these "nuclear winter" people understand that THEY MUST NOT FUNK UP THE SOUND FOR TEEBEE . . . i would be seriously irritated. that's the main reason for going to reid speed other than i was just talking about how no one has ever brought her. *laughing*
delicious beatz is back - people listened last night - it was exciting. there aren't any blessed turntables in the studio - brian has them - and he graduated. so until we get them back, or get new tables and a mixer and someone that knows exactly how to hook them up (preferably without reading directions!) then i think my show is going to be straight cd. how sad.

there's this guy in my social problems class that i really want to bean over the head with a book. he really is ignorant about some of the most pressing social problems in America today . . . even after reading an article that attempted to explain some things he *was* (not attempted to be) the devil's advocate. that's ok - i think there are more of us in that class that can see the forest, and many of us who wish he would just shut his yapper.
on the other hand there is free speech, what about free stupidity? or free ignorance? *goes off to do work*

not too much new . . . classes continue. mwf i have from 10-10:50 astronomy with the man that makes the mr. horse face and from 1-1:50 i have intro. to the christian tradition. tuesday / thursday i have from 9:30-10:45 social problems and from 1:30-2:45 the history of journalism. i gotta go to sleep now. or at least attempt it. i miss staying up late.
dom + roland was all right - dom tore it up, the breaks sucked, i almost attempted to beat up this guy, there were lots of rolling stupid ravers (boo to fraggles), and this one girl in the bathroom screams out when i walk in the door, "i just stuck a pill up my butt and it burns" . . . wow. i really did not want to know that. in fact - i really wish you would take that somewhere else.
